I love it! Pete didn't want to watch because his number is 4. In his own words, 4 is his favorite because "he likes to draw the leg." Must see if there are any "4" videos out there. :-)
oh yeah! holy moly 8 balls of fur! a household fave. Another 8 I hope you have seen alredy is the Schoolhouse Rock Figure 8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7DzWZTvIjg :o) Little Bev in grade schhol daydreaming about 8s. lol
Yup, Sesame Street. :) We have it on the "What's the Name of that Song" video. Can still picture Small One at two, running around like crazy to that song: "Eights! Eights! Eights! Eightseightseightseightseights! Eeeeiiiiights!!"
Schoolhouse Rock is on DVD! My brother and I saw the segments on Saturday mornings between cartoons; he liked the "Three Is a Magic Number" song best, by far. (The refrain goes, "3 6 9 ... 12 15 18 ...") Couple (er, or more) decades later, I found the Schoolhouse Rock DVD for Small One after he'd gone so crazy about the "8 Balls of Fur" song. His instant favorite over-and-over-and-over-again song? Yup.
Oh, you know WE watch it a lot!!! I was so excited to see it mentioned. We googled 8 and have found all kinds of fun things (including Bev and her website).
(For those that don't know, my little girl's special interests are 8 and purple; she's 4. Oh, she likes 8 because it is "perfect" upside down, too. And also with her synesthesia, 8 is the only purple number.)
Totally unrelated to 8, but full of lovely rectilinear patterns, this new microchip as featured in the Guardian newspaper: http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/gallery/2007/nov/13/internationalnews?picture=331251375
This was one of Little Chrissy's rare solo performances -- the number eight, of course, being important enough to compel him to take to the stage without The Alphabeats.
That was fantastic :D. Was it Sesame Street?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I saw this on Sesame Street at least 20yrs ago! LOL!!! It was great then, is great now!!! :-)

So excited about the posters I'm going to hang!

Hilarious even without audio. I note that the piano falls apart at the end. Nothing is held back!
